Lewis "Do-it" Taylor 66 of Charleston passed away December 3, 2016 at CAMC Memorial Division. Lewis was retired from B & J Welding Contracting; he was a loving husband, devoted family man, father, grandfather and had an unforgettable laugh. He loved to spend time with family and friends and loved to fish at Myrtle Beach. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Stephen Lewis and Birdie Jane Taylor; parents, Raymond Taylor and Eleanor Brzostowski and son, Lewis Ray Taylor, Jr. Survivors include his loving wife Diana; daughters, Elizabeth Taylor and Shawn Skiles of Charleston and Betty Francis Taylor and Mo Niyesdeen of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Cecil Taylor and wife Marsha of Charleston; sisters, Carolyn Demastus and husband Thomas of Shallotte, NC, Michele Browning and husband Kent of Sebastian, FL and Wilma Steil of Ashland, KY. Grandchildren, Jordan Taylor, Jared Taylor, Zakil Niyesdeen, and Zane Niyesdeen, and his loving Dog Bella. A special thank you to William Jarrel, Chipper Smith, Bill Knoll and Mr. Cruz, Mr. Jerry and K.R. They had many good times of fishing, working together and going to school together. Do-it will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Services will be 7:00 PM Wednesday December 7, 2016 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to services. In keeping with his wishes his body will be cremated after services.
